Product Overview

India's synthetic fibre sector — polyester, nylon, polypropylene, acrylic — is one of the world's largest. At its core is the spinneret: a precision die with hundreds to thousands of microscopic holes (50–500 microns) through which molten polymer is extruded into fibre. Clogged spinnerets cause uneven denier, yarn breaks, and downstream weaving defects — and traditional manual cleaning with needles risks permanent hole damage.

At 40–68 kHz, cavitation bubbles are 50–200 microns — sized to enter the spinneret holes and collapse, dislodging polymer residue from hole sidewalls without any physical contact that could alter hole diameter or edge geometry. Samarth Electronics manufactures dedicated spinneret cleaning stations with pre-soak compatibility, hot alkaline operation to 90°C, DI water rinse, and integrated hot-air drying.

Key Features & Benefits

🎯

40–68 kHz Spinneret Frequency

Cavitation bubbles enter holes as small as 50 microns — no tool contact, no hole dimension change.

🌡️

Up to 90°C Cleaning

Essential for dissolving polyester, nylon, and polypropylene polymer residue and carbon deposits.

🔬

Pre-Soak Compatible

Tank design accommodates initial pre-soak step in appropriate polymer-dissolving solution.

💧

DI Water Final Rinse

Removes dissolved polymer and residual chemistry from holes completely before storage.

💨

Integrated Hot-Air Drying

Complete station — clean, rinsed, and dried spinnerets ready for backlight inspection and storage.

📐

Multi-Plate Baskets

Custom baskets hold multiple spinneret plates simultaneously for production-scale cleaning throughput.

Frequently Asked Questions

A spinneret's hole dimensions directly determine fibre denier and uniformity. Clogging with polymer residue causes uneven denier, yarn breaks, and downstream defects. Regular ultrasonic cleaning restores all holes to specification — restoring consistent fibre quality.
At 40–68 kHz, cavitation bubbles are 50–200 microns — sized to enter the holes. When they collapse inside the hole, the micro-jet erodes deposited polymer from hole sidewalls without any physical tool contact that could change hole diameter.
PET spinnerets: hot alkaline polymer-degrading solution or proprietary cleaner. Nylon spinnerets: formic acid or chlorinated solvent in a closed fume-safe system. The pre-soak softens polymer to assist ultrasonic removal.
Polyester spinning packs: every 30–90 days. Melt-blown dies: every 7–30 days depending on throughput. Any spinneret showing rising extrusion pressure or declining fibre quality should be cleaned immediately.
Yes — to synthetic fibre manufacturers and spinneret reconditioners in Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, UAE, and Germany.
