Product Overview

The cylinder head is among the most contamination-laden components in an automotive engine - baked-on carbon from combustion, varnish from aged oil, gasket compound residue, coolant scale, and metal erosion debris accumulate over hundreds of thousands of kilometres of service. Manual cleaning with chemicals and wire brushes takes 4–6 hours per head and still leaves contamination in valve guide bores, coolant jacket passages, and oil return channels.

Samarth Electronics' engine head ultrasonic cleaner uses 28–40 kHz at 70–80°C in hot alkaline solution - removing every contamination type simultaneously, including from deep passages that manual cleaning cannot reach. A complete engine head is cleaned in 60-90 minutes - the same time a skilled technician spends on one quarter of the head manually. For engine reconditioning workshops and automotive OEM production, this is a fundamental improvement in throughput and cleaning quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Baked-on carbon from combustion deposits (combustion chamber, valve seats), varnish from aged and overheated oil in oil galleries and return passages, gasket compound residue, coolant scale in water jacket passages, and metal erosion particles from valve seat wear.
Determined by the largest head to be cleaned - typically 50L to 200L for passenger car heads, and up to 300L for heavy-duty diesel truck and locomotive heads. Always share your largest head dimensions so we specify the correct tank.
Yes - at 70–80°C in hot alkaline solution (pH 10–12) with 28–40 kHz, baked-on carbon deposits soften and are removed by cavitation from all surfaces simultaneously. For very heavy carbonisation, a 30-minute pre-soak in hot alkaline before the ultrasonic cycle further aids removal.
Pressure washing removes loose surface deposits but cannot penetrate coolant passages, oil gallery drillings, or valve guide bores. Ultrasonic cleaning reaches all passages simultaneously — achieving 3–4x better overall cleanliness in 25% of the time.
Yes — an electric basket hoist rated for your heaviest cylinder head is included with every engine head cleaning system. Engine heads typically weigh 20–80kg; our hoists handle this range safely.
